Day 5
March 5, 2014
Most of us woke up late again and some woke up early to get a head start on their Research Projects. Then we went to breakfast to eat and talk. We talked about what to do today. I was with a group who went on a hike to look at other places in La Selva. After a while Larry went back to the cabins. We continued to walk and kept seeing A Peccary out in the open. Marion (a girl in our group) wanted to pet it. Jared (a member in the group) had to go continue with his experiment, so I split from the group to join up with Larry. I went to the cabin and started looking at some HTML code. I found a new navigation (look up) to use for my blog. Then it was lunch time.
After lunch we had more research time but we mainly used is as free time. I let people use my laptop to make contact to people in the USA. Some of us did laundry. I just put in what I wore yesterday. We all just hung out and made each other laugh. Later a group (I was with them) went to see a waterfall that some of the students were talking about. We arrived and took some photos. On the way back we saw Spider Monkeys, Howler Monkeys, and Capuchin Monkeys. We then to go see some of the Columbus State University students play soccer. We then went to have dinner. Then Larry and I went to refill on water and on the way back we say a Click Bug which is a bug that lights up in the dark.
